"That was a traditional riad, comfortable and in an area of the Medina which was pretty easy to reach it, especially following the signs in the souks. The room was very big, with hot water 24/7. Delicious traditional breakfast. Mohammed and Leyla were amazing! They did their best to make sure that everything was fine for us, so, even when we needed an extra heater to our room, they provided us immediately. Great value for money. Totally recommended!"

"Charming small riad on the northern outskirts of Medina. Beautifully decorated rooms and courtyard. Entrance to Riad is an absolute treat! Through a low doorway in the wall and down a colourful narrow alley. Air con was new and quiet. Very quiet area at night. Shampoo available. Special high quality toilet paper! Very clean room. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. It was lovely to hear the birds chirping and a rooster crow as we ate. We had a room on top floor but the narrow staircase was well lit and we had option of another room next to courtyard. The terrace was clean with tables and chairs and a decent outlook. The staff- Moneim- exceptional. So friendly and genuine. He organised a tour for us. Overall, great value for money. Highly recommended!!"

"It felt like a real family stay. The house was very and welcoming, and it was a beautiful opportunity to meet and spend time with a real Moroccan family. The location is lovely and peaceful, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere."

"While we appreciated staying with a local family, the overall comfort did not match the price. The rooms were cold with no heating, the bathroom was not very clean, Breakfast was very small compared to other places we stayed at for a similar price. It was also quite noisy, with sound carrying easily between rooms, so it’s not ideal if you are looking for a quiet stay."

"Great location close to the tanneries and the old mosque/university. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. They help you with advice on sights to see as well as how not to walk into tourist traps. They also gave me good advice on buying leather products and pricing. ou can have breakfast on the beautiful rooftop terrace. There's also restaurant on the roof, but I didn't eat there. Place is easy to reach from train station with a taxi."

"Room was very basic and had more of a hostel vibe, but I booked the budget room, so not complaining here. Don't know how the other rooms were."
