"Exceptional! Kitchen was so well kitted out, we cooked all our meals in bar one night out. Daily baked treats from Judy were delicious & fresh fruit & avocados on arrival. Everything is thought of, a home away from home but with those essentials that make it a holiday home. Books, games, spades for the beach. Nothing left out."

"Beautiful property, close to the beach. Clean, comfortable and well equipped inside and with a small outdoor terrace and loungers. We were very warmly greeted. Nice area - near Hot Water Beach & Cathedral Cove, tremendous meal at Kaizan at Go Vino just 5 mins walk away. Seriously, if you're in the area don't hesitate - just make sure you stay longer than one night !"

"Exceptional accommodation! We had a wonderful stay, with Judy meeting us as we arrived and letting us into the apartment and telling us all we needed to know. We were in Cooks Beach to celebrate a friends birthday, so only stayed one night. The Bay Breeze was very close to the party venue, so an easy walk home - Judy was incredibly nice and dropped us off at the start (mega appreciated!). The apartment is self-contained and very spacious with a lovely little deck out front and to the side, plus a spacious kitchen and living room, then the 2 bedrooms are very spacious and well setup. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The bathroom is very roomy with a very nice powerful shower. We loved all the little touches, with a shower cap available and some cake in the fridge. The overall experience was Outstanding and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Judy and Murray. All the best for the rest of 2025."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
