"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.

The reception was almost never occupied, and the person on the indicated phone number did not speak English. So checking in and paying was a bit tricky. Internet is a bit slow for working, but OK. Also, mind that you may need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

"All was lovely, the food was particularly good and a pleasant surprise after some of the restaurants we had eaten at on our trip. The cottage was great, the linen very good, the swimming pool a great asset."

We would have liked to have been given sandwiches with the tea at 4pm. Slight disappointment!

The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to organize all my trips both around town and further afield. They are very knowledgeable and always happy to help with anything. It also meant a lot to know that the funds from the guest house support a school for the local community. The friendly and hard working staff were extremely helpful, and the owner Primus met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for a pre-arranged fee. This made our arrival so much easier and stress free. He also arranged car rental for us which was excellent value. There's a nice lounging area overlooking the bay, good for watching sunsets, and a refreshing pool. Home cooked food available lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed a most memorable and relaxing stay."

"Location is at walking distance from many points of interest. Room has a little kitchen with stove and small refrigerator. There is no Coffee maker though. Room has A/C, hot water, TV with Netflix. It is a good choice for the price and it is comfortable. It is also very quiet."

It said had parking included but you need to park on the street or pay a parking lot. Besides the guy that received us for the check-in never saw anyone else in the front desk during our stay to ask questions or guide us on anything. Other than that the place is good to stay and will definitely go back

"It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."
