"This a wonderful hotel in the centre of the city . Perfect to spend a few days exploring Montevideo . The hotel is a bit old and you can see it but it’s still quite well maintained . The staff were especially nice and very helpful"

"The same thing I didn’t like in any other hotel and pretty much every building . There are no mosquito screens and mosquitoes are quite a big problem"

"A diverse choice of restaurants in short distance. Two beaches close, one with more wild waves and one more calm nice to take a bath also for family. Enjoyed a lot the balkony. Excitingly well working shower. Breakfast room was great with a nice morning few towards the morning sun and beach. My bicycle was welcome."

"A five minute walk from the ferry terminal literally just straight up Rivera so convenient. The people working there are friendly and helpful. Accommodation comfortable with all the amenities you'd expect. Cafes and restaurants virtually on every corner. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. "The property on arrival looked exactly like it's pictures, the staff where friendly and helpful. We meet one of the farm dogs whom took us for a walk across the paddock to the creek where it went for a swim. Back at the ranch we meet the friendly hosts, dinner is a communal affair were you meet the other guests, on our first night was an amazing BBQ of local food. Our hosts enjoyed telling stories around the dinner table, it's here we learnt of the travels of the other guests and their recommendations within Uruguay.The next morning we went for a horse ride and off across the paddock with the dogs we understood why this is the land of the gaucho, the horses are so well trained and followed the instructions of the gaucho. The few days at the ranch went quickly and was the highlight of our trip to Uruguay"
