"I had such a lovely stay at Tonmai Suites, I'm a solo traveller and stayed for 2 nights - the room was huge! I had a lovely outside balcony area going all the way around the room (this might be just the upstairs section though!) Comfy bed, air con, and in such a peaceful setting right next to the old town. The owner (Aun) was so helpful when I needed to get taxi's - I just messaged them on WhatsApp and they organised for me so quickly. His brother Bird was also so kind and helpful taking me to my next hotel when I checked out. (Taxis around 400thb) his other brother (I forgot his name) also helped and took me to Khlong Nin Beach on one of the days. They were just all so kind and welcoming! I also left my luggage for the whole day while I went on a boat tour 👌 Definitely recommend!"

"The whole public area is a bit dusty and needs renovation. The furniture in room was unattractive and the vanity cabinet in poor condition. Fittings in general look cheap."

"I stayed in 3 different room types here and they were all great. The hotel is right beside the old town with plenty of delicious restaurants over the sea. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountain views. Bird, there guy who owns the hotel, was so helpful with anything I needed. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's also one of the only places that doesn't put up their prices during high season. Thanks Bird and Aun for a great stay 🙏"

"NIt’s a little distance from the west coast where the beaches and most businesses are but I knew that in advance, so no problem. I would definitely recommend renting a motorbike though, if you stay here."

"Room was supersized, two massive king size beds in separate private areas. Sea view and just outside the old town so little or no noise. Close enough for many restaurants including vegan and Vegetarian options. Communication with owners 5* Only stayed one night but would have stayed longer. We were told that a local Festival is being held 3-5 November so book early."
