"Great snorkelling around the over water bungalows, lots of turtles feeding on the seagrass. Beautiful location, so relaxing. Beach access bungalows are very nice, newly renovated, comfy bed. Pool was awesome. Appreciated the sea bird conservation in the island. I actually loved the sounds of the Puffin de Pacifique birds at night - I thought it was a child crying at first lol… bungalows have earplugs, luckily! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. Got a generous late check out, service was really good from the boat to the front desk to the restaurant and bar. Everyone speaks a very high level of English, not sure where the negative comments about staff come from - they were the best I experienced in NC by far."

It’s an expensive buffet dinner (around $80aud) but the choices were really good, esp the fresh seafood and all the desserts. It’s just not worth it if you don’t eat huge dinners. Order à la carte options instead, but nice to try the buffet just once. Consider BYO noodles and alcohol if you want to save money, buying food and drinks from the restaurant and bar adds up quick. Would have been good to be able to lock/unlock the back beach access door from outside with a key.

"The location is the best. Easy access when arriving at Lac Rose. Most activities are located right in front of the hotel (horse/camel riding, quad rental to ride in the sand dunes, etc). The hotel is literally on the lake, with the terrasse and dining area built over the water."

Some items on the menu tasted like they were not fresh. The AC in the room was a bit underperforming and noisy. The lock on the glass door going to the balcony was broken and could not be locked.

"This motel was a wonderful surprise! The location is excellent, and the entire place is exceptionally clean. The room design is elegant and tasteful, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt very well cared for, and the cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommended!"

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the layout — the bed is a bit close to the entrance door, which made the space feel slightly tight at times.

Organised tours available for guests from tourist agencies, for self organised guests rent-a-car is the only option for sightseeing. Some facilities require better maintenance.

В номері є все необхідне і навіть більше, постійно питають чи не потрібно ще щось, чистота надзвичайна, таке враження що в номері і в готелі прибирають 24/7. Всі дуже ввічливі і постійно турбуються про тебе. Пракрасний спа, особливо рекомендую балійський масаж, робила Nyoman (вона з Балі приїхала). Зручне розташування поруч декілька музеїв, а також Old Port Doha Дякуємо персоналу за турботу і чудове ставлення до гостей."

Недоліком було - незручне додаткове ліжко для дитини, вона вже хоч і доросла, але спати на ньому не міг ніхто, занадто тверде та мале, треба з цим щось робити. Також наявність російських відпочивальників, не дивлячись на всі їх злочини, їх продовжують впускати в країну.

Заселення о 17:00, а виселення о 10:00 - як на мене це зарано. Сніданок до 10 і якщо ви приходите після 9:00 то на сніданку дуже малий вибір. Яйця смажать прямо в ресторані, але витяжка не працює, жахливо сидіти і їсти, коли навколо смердить димом.

The location is beautifully quiet and serene, away from the hustle of the city. Surrounded by nature and heritage charm, it felt like a perfect peaceful escape. "We liked the location with very close proximity to the beach, pools and restaurants.Staff were overall very friendly and welcoming.The range of restaurants was great and the food superb. We ate at them all (Sensai, Blue Moon, Il Mascherati di Venizia, Route 66, Margarita and El Carey/ La Tortuga ) with the only exception being Villa Marina, which proved problematic to book a table. The beach was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers available.Our room was a good size and cleaned by the staff daily with lovely little touches like fresh flowers and abundant clean towels and shampoo/conditioner."

On arrival it would have been helpful to have had it explained that all information regarding booking restaurants, knowing the daily entertainment schedule and viewing menus etc was on the hotel app. It was three days before we realised this! We didn't like the branded drinks being charged as extras. If you like certain brands of drink you will be charged for them. Local equivalent drinks are only covered in the standard all inclusive package. Three of the restaurants have a pre-booking policy. It states on the app that these can be booked from 07-30 each day. We found that if you left it until 07-30 most of the tables had been booked. Therefore the earlier you get up to book a table, the better your chances of securing a place in the restaurant of your choice. Frustratingly, we were not able to book a table at Villa Marina during our two week stay. Every time we tried it was fully booked:this was incredibly disappointing!!!! Finally, a WARNING to other visitors. One day when we were on our way to lunch, we were duped with an offer of a free massage if we were prepared to give up twenty minutes of our time to hear about the membership deals on offer by the hotel group. Two hours later, after a non stop, in your face , hard sell by the sales team we couldn't take any more and walked out. Thankfully, we were mature and strong willed enough to resist the sales team. Many others probably capitulate and sign for a deal they may reflect later they do not want. Investing between 10,000 and 20,000 dollars is no joke, especially when they don't want to give you time to reflect on the deal and decide in a calm and balanced way. The whole process spoiled the last few days of our holiday and we hope others see this comment and are forewarned and refuse to be tricked into accepting offers of "free" massages or goody bags.

The sea has moved in so much over the years that there really is no place to sunbathe on the beach by the hotel. You can walk further down the beach - given space limited sun beds on the decking area.

"From the moment of entry to the entire experience, Le Meridien was great. We stayed in the adults only Nirvana part which was amazing. Had its own pool, pool bar and great beach access. Rooms were incredibly spacious and clean with great decor. The restaurants on the property were quite good, with our favorite being Kumin. Special mention to Kavish from Guest Relations who always made an effort to connect with us each day, and recommend things to do on the island including some great restaurants. Also to Hevin from the Pool Bar, who went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. Overall highly recommended."

Honestly nothing. The asian food at Jasmin restaurants, especially the sushi could have been better. But that's stretching to find a con!

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

At that price I expected a ceiling fan ,especially with the high humidity, and a hot shower , even under a black solar bag . And a linen change should have happened, after a few hot and humid nights , the sheets become greasy and unpleasant to sleep on .
