"It’s on the beach. Mohammed at the Reception desk was fantastically helpful and patient. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to cafes, the new souq, the fort."

"The WiFi is unsecured so I was unable to do a lot of business online because of the vulnerability of not being password protected. Never knew when the cafe would be open."

"Its a nice and large villa with nice pool. Excellent owner and guy who cares about the property and lives nextdoor. Its decently maintained. Sizewise its best for 4 people with 2 bedrooms. Futon beds are just mattresses on the floor of a living room. There are strong rip currents at the beach nearby so swimming is prohibited. You have to move few kilometers. But the beaches are huge, sandy endless and beautifull. The location is quite away from all the touristic places but you get real feel of an authentic Omani lifestyle with kids playing and elders chatting on the beach."

"The location is great, only 10mins from the airport and within 30mins drive of lots of natural beautiful local attraction’s. The views from the room are amazing! The room itself had everything we needed and was so cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was yummy, but way too much food. There was a little food hut around the corner that made amazing crepes with cheese and honey, you have to try it!"

"• Salem is a host that definitely goes out of his way to ensure you have a fantastic stay. He took us and four other guests in the evening to see local fishermen and the tuna they had caught, turtles swimming and bioluminescence in the ocean. • It was my birthday during the stay and he spontaneously took us out for smoothies and bought a birthday cake! This was very kind of him. • We wanted to walk to the pink beach after we checked in and Salem politely offered us a ride to the beach and gave us use of his beach hut, we then walked back before dinner which took 20-30 minutes. • The dinner was absolutely fantastic and very delicious. It is communal with other guests which we very much enjoyed. • Salem has a pet cat who was very cute and we loved playing with her. The design of his gardens is stunning and he has collected many things over the years that is worth exploring."
