"Place was very clean and easy to access from the Main Street. The staff were all really kind and friendly and very accommodating with organising shuttles to and from the airport and allowing us a late check out since I caught food poisoning the day before! For the price I would recommend but only if you are ok with lots of walking"

"The shower in our room couldn’t stay in the wall as where it was bolted in was too close to the roof so should be fixed, also bad water pressure but I kind of expected that since we were in the old town. I should have looked it up before had but we were about 2km or a 15-20 minute walk from the main square so that added to our day but this is fine if you don’t mind the walk. The breakfast was good just very heavily sweet, it would be good to add another savoury element aside from just the egg maybe even tomato and some normal cheese so there is the option to not have sweet spreads on the bread"

"I liked the neighbourhood. It is a bit further from the main square and the center of medina, but it is a bit calmer too. There are some smaller shops where your can buy some stuff, but is not as overwhelming as souks in the center. You have some nice restaurants around that area as well. The cleanliness was spotless. I was very surprised that the room was cleaned almost daily. Very nice."

"The room was rather cold. We had some extra heating and blankets but it was hard to get warm. Also the bathroom was in a bad shape generally, the bathtub basically had a hole in the middle. I didn't see it leaking, but definitely had to leak somewhere."

"Facilities could do with updating, I.e, lamps hanging off the bathroom walls, the bath could be updated, hard bed and better lighting for the room. The photos on the site were taken during summer so the riad looked vibrant but we stayed in the December so the roof terrace was quite weathered and uninviting with uncomfortable chairs"

"For the price, Riad Rockech is excellent value. While it doesn’t have luxury extras like a pool, the atmosphere, location, and hospitality more than make up for it. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and affordable riad experience in Marrakech."
