We had a wonderful horse-riding experience with the warm, professional and friendly Feko. Thank you also for the assistance with my flat car tire at the end, hugely appreciated. Hiking was a lot of fun, only tiny snag at the end with confusing signage. Please get your amazing hiking trails on to the ALL TRAILS app so that users can update others on the trail beauty, fitness level/trail difficulty. Overall an amazing experience. We loved the fireplace being lit every night I our room and I the dining areas at breakfast. Very clean facilities, loved how well the room was cleaned everyday, makes a huge difference after a day of activities like hiking and skiing"

"We had a wonderful stay with exceptional service and hospitality. The lodge itself and the views were absolutely breathtaking, making it a memorable experience. I highly recommend staying here and taking the time to enjoy everything it has to offer in the lodge and the nature around."

"Unfortunately, the check-out process was less smooth. The card machine wasn’t working, and we ended up waiting for 30 minutes despite being on a tight schedule. The outstanding amount was only a fraction of the total bill, and it didn’t seem worth delaying our journey by more than half an hour. Offering a simple alternative, such as a payment link or bank transfer, would have been a much more convenient solution and avoided the unnecessary delay. Instead, we were repeatedly told to “wait a little longer,” which also occurred again at the gate, adding to the frustration. A short info from the reception to the gate could have impede this situation to make this smooth. Although this was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, handling the situation with greater service quality and flexibility would have better matched the otherwise high standards of the experience. All in all, this is a fantastic place to stay, and I’d happily return in the future."

"Beautiful scenery and escape getaway in Lesotho. The lodges are inspired by the rondavels which you'll notice all around in Lesotho and is a traditional style of housing in SA. The employees are extremely friendly. The room was beautiful, tidy and felt luxurious (floor heating!). Every time we went for diner we came back with the fireplace on and our bed was made. Very thoughtful and well organized. Not to mention the view you wake up to, this place is literally surrounded by mountains and only mountains. There is (limited) WiFi, but you have to ask for an access code at the reception. We very much enjoyed the community visit, because whilst staying in this beautiful accommodation, it's also important to acknowledge the circumstances outside the gate and to get to know the country and its people."

"The lodge is located in a national park which requires an extra entrance fee. My advice is to carry the exact amount of cash with you (ZAR is accepted), because the guards 'couldn't give us any change'. No cards accepted. We didn't see our money back, so felt a little dodgy. Also, try to arrive before sunset, because the road to the lodge is not illuminated and contains a lot of speed bumps, potholes and walking locals in the dark."
