"The property is about 50m from beach. One can enjoy the view of the Indian Ocean from the rooftop while enjoying food. There's a train track running close and is a source of entertainment. Every time a train passes, we were running to the balcony like kids. Breakfast is not included. All meals have to be paid, which is fine. The Chef Madhu is a good cook. He customised the menu for our Indian taste. The owner Mrs. Stephanie is very cordial, always smiling, and is a professional. She works personally and supervised most of the works. It was our last place of stay in Sri Lanka, and we rested a lot. Made a couple of visits to the beach and the city. The city is located about 15 km. Tuk Tuks and Cars are available and we used Uber."

"The receptionist was exceptionally understanding and accommodating. I stayed here on the st Valentine's night before my flight and the receptionist warned me that the hotel was fully booked and might be loud due to the celebration, but i didn't hear anything and had a great sleep before my departure"

"- Privacy. This is a real villa where you are completely on your own in a full-fledged two-storey cottage with a huge courtyard and a swimming pool, fenced off from prying eyes from all sides. This is not a bungalow with a hut and a hammock - this is a villa. - Comfort and tranquility. There is nothing distracting, only birdsong in the morning. - Interior. It feels like you're living in an museum of arts. - Private parking, swimming pool with everyday cleaning servie - The location and atmosphere of Maravilla. This is a very small town, not a tourist town. No one is bothering you here. Rent a car and go wherever you want: even to a disco, even to holy places. - This villa is beautiful and suitable for everyone: families, groups of friends, romantic couples, single travelers - everyone will find their own place here. - The hotel owners is very interesting people"

"Comfortable guesthouse backed onto one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. Rooms were clean and of reasonable size, small pool a refreshing addition with multiple patio/seating areas. I was in regular touch with a coordinator from the Kay Jay HQ who was responsive with good English - he helpfully arranged tuks and taxis when there were language barriers with the local team."

"It was quiet, located right next to the beach. You hear only the waves (and the fishermen). Room was spacious, clean and well equipped (though a bit dated). The balcony was huge and cool during the day because of the breeze from the ocean. The garden is nice, with enough lawnchairs and shade spots around the pool. No mosquitos during our stay. You can order dinner that they bring from somewhere else. It was well done (we tried fish, rice and curry, prawns). Helpful and friendly staff."
