"У номерах не прибирають, тому якщо дуже потрібно, слід попросити Рушники не міняють, треба просити Всі меблі і ванна кімната стареньке, особливо в номерах на 3-тьому поверсі, на 2-му більш нові номери Прибирають не дуже якісно, мабуть як і всюди на Шрі-Ланці, тому очікувати чистоти не слід. Весь відпочинок під ліжком пролежала чужа шкарпетка, навіть коли попросили поприбирати, її не прибрали Під кінець відпочинку йшли сильні дощі і почав протікати дах, на ліжко капала вода з даху, господар сказав що це через мавп, які бігають по даху. Ніяких мір, щоб усунути протікання, ніхто не приймав(("

"Aura Villa is a lovely family-run property in a fantastic location in Unawatuna. Everything you need is close by, with beaches, cafes, and local attractions easily accessible on foot, or just a short bus or tuk-tuk ride away. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I stayed in a top-floor Double Deluxe room with a corner aspect, which was filled with natural light and had a beautiful view from the balcony. The room was well set up with both a ceiling fan and air conditioning, making it comfortable at all times of the day. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with reliable hot water. The space felt calm, well cared for, and thoughtfully maintained. After spending 23 days here, Aura Villa truly felt like a home away from home. The welcoming atmosphere and attention to cleanliness made it a place I was always happy to return to. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Unawatuna."

"The room and the bathroom are really clean. Hosts are nice and helpful. The walk to the nearest beach is really short, but if you want to go to the Jungle Beach, be prepared for a 20min walk. The bus stop is also nearby so it's perfect if you're going by the bus."

"The balcony doesn't have railings so it's really unsafe to use. AC works too well I'd say. I couldn't turn it down so it was either freezing or turned off and got hot. Bidet isn't working. On our second night there was a dog in the hallway near our room and it was barking all night. It was really disturbing."

"Family-run accommodation with very helpful people who will help you arrange whale safari and taxi rides. The Jungle beach furthest away, at the peace pagoda is super nice and great for sunset views. Just down on the Main Street are multiple options for local food"

"We stay at this hotel from 3rd to 8th March 2025😁Great location, away from the tourist streets. 20 minutes walk up the mountain to Jungle Beach(you can take tuk tuk). 10 minutes walk along the main road to the fish market, there is also a beach for surfers. Wonderful and friendly staff.We have room at third floor with great view!!!"

"Perfect location if you want to explore the area. Five minute walk to the bus stop. Very nice and quiet room with a perfect view (I had booked the deluxe double room on the top floor). Very handy : the big common room with kitchen, fridge, tables, couch"

"The room was advertised as Deluxe with balcony and sea view. Also said there was a bath 🛁 Our room was pretty basic although the bed was very comfortable. The balcony was narrow and had no safety railing just a drop to the garden below, dangerous especially when wet. Our sea view was a glimpse. The bathroom was small and dark and certainly didn't have a bath. We told owner we would like to move due to balcony and lack of view hexsaid he would check diary but never mentioned it again. We stayed for 9 nights and was looking forward to it but found it disappointing."
