"The Manager is always ready to help and he's a hard-working, kind man. His helpers are also all great. The place itself is well-kept, clean and very beautiful, to the point that it doesn't even look like a hostel. The area is amazing and full of things to do. Breakfast available for everybody as well! Can't wait to go back actually ^^"

"This hostel is super clean, quiet, and very well maintained, which I really appreciated. The free breakfast was good and the overall atmosphere felt calm and comfortable. One of the managers, Kyungil, truly deserves special recognition. He kindly helped me with my laundry late at night (a wash and dry service for 10,000 won, which is great value). Unfortunately, I accidentally left pink lipstick in my jeans pocket and ended up ruining some clothes, completely my fault, not his at all. Kyungil was incredibly sweet and apologetic anyway, and even tried his best behind the scenes to help get it out. He started my laundry around 11pm and actually got up in the middle of the night to finish it for me. He is genuinely kind, friendly, and caring so please do not lose this manager, he is a real asset. The hostel itself is cute, quaint, and in a great location near Myeongdong Street markets."

"My check-in experience wasn’t great. The staff member on arrival seemed unfriendly and visibly annoyed that I hadn’t read the pre-arrival email however, I never received one (I booked through Booking.com, which usually sends automated messages). I work as a hotel receptionist back home, so I understand how these systems work. The interaction felt unnecessarily cold and inconvenient, especially when arriving in a new country. My friend actually had the same experience at check-in, which made it feel less like a one-off. I also didn’t like the strict separation of men and women in all common areas. While I understand this from a safety perspective, it would be nice to have at least one unisex common space alongside women-only areas. I was travelling with a male friend and couldn’t even see him inside the building. This is not a social hostel and don’t expect to meet people here. Most guests keep to themselves, so if you’re solo travelling and looking for a social atmosphere, this probably isn’t the place."
