"the hosts are so nice and helpful, they offered a lot of help to us as we were foreigners traveling. We loved talking to them! the room was also super nice and clean: view of the sea, nice furnishing, confortable bed and very nice bathroom with a bathtub!"

"The location was the main feature for me. I was in Gangneung for the New Year's Day sunrise and I could see it from my window in my room. The check in was very easy, the room was cozy and warm, the facilities were clean. There was a strong food smell in the dining area but I was never really inside of it (just passing by). I did not eat breakfast at the hotel as I was already out before sunrise to see the sunrise. But everyone was very kind to me. I was certainly the only non-Korean person in the hotel and they were all kind to me."

"I figured out the Wifi but it would have been nice to have a page of information in the room for features like this (and the breakfast, I did not stay for it but I did not really understand how it was supposed to work). Even a page in Korean would be easy enough to translate with the Google translator app. I think a little more communication about the amenities would have been helpful but I don't know how much I missed out on because of the language barrier."

"The location is great: backed by a small hill and right in front of beach. The host is exceptionally good. He looked a bit old but was very enthusiastic and super kind. We booked for a standard room, but on check-in when seeing our little kid, he offered us a more luxury room for free. He then even took us to Jumunjin fish market by his car (yeah, for free also)."

"The hotel and the room were beautiful. Loved the western vintage style. We really enjoyed the view of the sea from our room. The bathroom was tidy and well ventilated. The owners were also very nice. There are tables outside where you can have a drink, eat together etc."

"가족과 함께 편하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 좋은 경치를 보면서 바베큐도 즐길 수 있었고, 덕분에 좋은 추억을 만들 수 있었습니다. 바로 앞에 해변도 있고, 일출도 볼 수 있었고 만족입니다. 또 이용하고 싶습니다."

"Вежливый персонал, встретили, все показали. Уютный теплый номер, большая ванная комната с ванной, прекрасный вид из окна на море, балкон. На втором этаже большая уютная кухня. Очень довольны. Рядом магазин 7 eleven."

"The staff were very friendly and ordered a taxi to take us around for three hours. We didn’t mind forgoing the govt subsidy as we wanted to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. We also liked the two convenience stores, esp the one on the lobby floor. The cafe was very gd too- Twosome Place. There were amazing seafood restaurants next to the hotel that were open for dinner on a Wed night during winter. Unforgettable snow crab n jumbo shrimps with sashimi and tempura. The beach is just opposite the hotel and you can see it from ocean view rooms."

The bread from the bakery “Le Baguette”, located right next to the accommodation, is also very delicious and highly recommended. "Very homely place, feels very comfortable in the house. Host very thoughtful to provide loaf of bread and milk, Jam and water . Clear instructions were provided and host reached out to guests early to check on them. Feel very welcome by the host. Host turn up when we check out to just say hello and meet us. We enjoy lounging at the platform bed together after a day of visiting."

"This hotel is in an excellent location, and seemingly reasonably priced compared to others in the area (based only on price comparisons before travelling). The hotel itself has everything you need for a short stay but for two people could be quite uncomfortable for a long stay as the room was not very big. The beds were ok - not amazing but not uncomfortable. We stayed in a twin so single beds. Check in and check out were easy and front desk staff were helpful and friendly."
