"Amazing stay all around! Simone was a lovely host and gave us a lot of recommendations for the area and the rest of Italy. The location is close to a lot of winerys and some lovely villages. The room was cool and cosy."

"Such a cosy place to stay if you are visiting Chianti! Simone, the owner is super nice and helpful! He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting places. Our room was super cute and clean, and the location of the accommodation is very convenient to visit around the area. Totally recommend it and will stay again to this amazing place if in the area! "Casa Karina is a beautiful, stylish home that has been created with evident love by Karina and Antonio. We especially loved taking breakfast on the cool terrace each morning, complete with Karina’s delicious home made pomegranate juice, followed by a swim in the large pool. Specchia old town is a beautiful hidden gem, not too busy, with many lovely restaurants and cafes in which to eat whilst watching the world go by. Antonio and Karina are the perfect hosts; they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were great company throughout our stay."

"Die Häuser sind sehr modern gestaltet mit einem kleinen Vorgarten. Das Restaurant mit direktem Blick auf dem See, hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Nette Gastgeberin und nettes Personal. Kleine aber sehr Familiäre Anlage. Man konnte von dort aus viele Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen."

"Lovely big accommodation. Warm and very clean, comfortable, nice kitchen. A library of books, ping pong room, large swimming pool (closed for winter), laundry etc. A pizza shop nearby, 10 min walk, that also sells bread, salami and ham, cheeses, etc. Local delivery pizzas are good. Taxis into city centre about 15 euro if needed, note RTZ in town. Fabulous city. Approx 1 mile walk to the city via olive forest but only for the fit!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bucaneve. The room was a good size and very clean, just missing a tea/coffee station but otherwise can't fault it. Breakfast was enjoyable, a large buffet selection and attentive staff. We really enjoyed the pool area but thought it could be open earlier in the day for those who prefer a morning swim/sauna. Easy location for walking into the main town (10-15min walk) and Mottolino gondola."

"Situé au coeur de la ville. Chambre très spacieuse (pour une personne et même pour 2). Les propriétaires (hotel + le restaurant + le bar) sont très gentils, même si très occupés. Arriver à l'heure (< 20h) car ils ferment le bar et s'activent au restaurant après cette heure-là. On peut se garer gratuitement (hors saison, sans doute, uniquement) à 20 m de l'hotel, les parkings autour étant payants en journée. On peut entrer-sortir, avec la clé, jusqu'à 23h. Le restaurant est très bien (j'y ai pris 2 repas, dont un avec mon cousin italien). Plats typiques de la région. Le bar voisin est très sympa, intérieur comme extérieur (visiter la bibliothèque familiale et de montagne....). (la photo avec les véhicules militaires anciens est prise devant l'établissement)"
