About 3 km from Bolzano, Eggentaler is a 3-star hotel 15 km from the Carezza and Latemar ski slopes. The Dolomites can be reached within 20 km. It offers a Seasonal outdoor pool, sun terrace. They are open daily and do not require reservation. Guests can enjoy the surroundings or relax in the 200-square-metre garden. The hotel is made up of 2 separate buildings. Reception and the restaurant are set in the main building, while Rooms are located in both the main building and the annex, where the sauna is also located. There is no dedicated ski bus, but a public bus line is available nearby.

"Probably the best hotel I've experienced. The aesthetic, quality of decor and fittings, cleanliness, upkeep are immaculate. Comfortable like home. The location next to a bubbling river, surrounded by forested hills, is refreshing. The breakfasts are brilliant, and the dinners are out of this world (though prepare to pay). The staff are on the ball, friendly, and professional."

"The room was spacious and the views from the balcony were great. The pool area was busy but well kept and still felt private. The food offering is amazing with a really thorough wine list. I’d recommend booking for dinner when booking the property/in advance as i could only dine at 6pm, which wasn’t an issue after a day of hiking but for larger parties or different schedules may be too early. There is lots of parking and you are away from main roads so it was silent."
