"A quiet residential area, friendly host, very close to the airport, over the road from a lovely local pool, with slides, hot tubs etc and a short distance from a great restaurant Hotel Kef. Beds very comfortable. Lounge was comfortable though we didn't use it."

"- It is the big house, you will get the whole area 3 bedrooms of ground floor with livingroom, kitchen, bathroom. - the location is near the Keflavik airport, just drive 10mins. - Room is clean and bed is very comfy."

"The host was amazing! He was waiting and ready! Had everything set up for us. He helped us organise transport too. The rooms were spacious and the blinds were great for blocking out the sunlight."

"Home was in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The home is 5 - 10 minutes from the airport, which is what attracted us to it, but it was also 2 minutes walk from a swimming pool with slide, 5 minutes walk to the local shops, and 5 minutes drive from a petrol station. Ideal location!"

"Location was very near to the Airport. We stayed on the last night before heading out of Iceland so it was very convenient to return the rental car and go to the airport."

"Quiet location, conveniently close to the airport for early-morning flights. Helpful and welcoming host. Apartment was warm and a good size for the five of us. Weren't there long enough to make use of the facilities, but everything was clean."

"It is very spacious, quiet. As we did not have the good weather at the visit, we did not get the view which could be very great. From the very beginning the house/room does not look so straightforward to stay. But once I get used to the layout, I think it's okay. Eventually I like to stay in the kitchen room, only. The living room has a lot of decorations which keeps us with distance though."

"I always stay at Tehúsid when I pass through Egilsstadir. Their facilities are always clean, comfortable and safe. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. I haven't had a chance to eat at the restaurant, yet, because I'm always traveling but the desserts I've seen on display are mouth-watering. Tehúsid is very conveniently located--near a couple of major grocery stores--and is at the regional bus stop. It's the perfect place for a travel overnight. Comfortable, cozy, clean, and safe."
