"Excellent base camp to explore southern Iceland and the Golden Ring - camping site with cottages - the large cottage has a complete kitchen and spacious living room, perfect to prepare dinner or take-away lunch. It even had a working hot-water pool outside!"

"On arrival, surprised to find open but empty, all rooms seemed available, so chose 1, turned out we were the only occupants, so quiet!! Hosts turned up in the morning, produced a buffet, FOR 2!!, Of note was the superb locally-caught smoked salmon, head & shoulders above farmed. Amazing views from/around the property, dinner (5 mile) was lovely."
