"The Villa is lovely and spacious with modern decor. The kitchen was well equipped. Perfect for accommodating our family of 5. The location was great, close enough to Klaustur with the advantage of being remote. We had an excellent view of the northern lights whilst at the Villa. The addition of puzzles and games were loved by our children. The neighbouring dog was delightful, our children enjoyed playing with him. Would highly recommend."

"Fossar Villa is a stunning property in the lush landscape on the South Coast of Iceland. The house is a generous size, equipped to a very high standard and decorated tastefully. Star of the show are the incredible views over the coast near Kirkjubæjarklaustur and it's a great place to hang out and relax for a family or a group of friends. The hosts were very friendly and responsive."

"Perfect location, we booked for two nights and both the nights ended up with observing northern lights in 0 degree outside. Very isolated from the world with no light noise nearby, has a N1 around 20kms away on route 1. Villa has all the amenities except washing machine. Plenty of rooms for a big group"

"Very nice place for a night on the island - two minutes by car form the ferry, you can find parking place everywhere - This place is easy to find, especially when you get so clear instructions - room was ok, bathroom was clean - electric kettle and fridge on spot, very good coffee downstairs in the cafe, shops are within the walking distance, anyway everything is great and within the walking distance - accept the weather- it was snowing so much that we didn't see the volcano .... so it is a good reason to come back on the island in the future :)"
