"The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They're basically sharing their home with travelers. We had a private bathroom, full access to the kitchen, and option for hikes. Great location for Husavik and the Diamond Circle. Godafoss is 10 minutes away. The house itself was built in the traditional farmhouse style, so overall a great experience."

"Perfect stay!!! The house is absolutely wonderful from the outside and inside. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need, the dining room is big. The room is nice, beds are comfortable. It is very, very clean. Most importantly, the owners are lovely, welcoming people, who made us instantly feel at home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us, we had a wonderful time. Wir haben uns sehr gut mit ihnen unterhalten, es fühlte sich an wie zuhause zu sein🫶 der Ausblick ist super, weit und breit kein Nachbar. Beim Abschied nach 3 Nächten kamen mir sogar Tränen. "Very nice place for a night on the island - two minutes by car form the ferry, you can find parking place everywhere - This place is easy to find, especially when you get so clear instructions - room was ok, bathroom was clean - electric kettle and fridge on spot, very good coffee downstairs in the cafe, shops are within the walking distance, anyway everything is great and within the walking distance - accept the weather- it was snowing so much that we didn't see the volcano .... so it is a good reason to come back on the island in the future :)"
