"The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

The hotel is next to the freeway, so avoid rooms close to front due to constant traffic noise.

it was not really easy to find because there were no signs or something like this, but all the business next to her were nice and immediately recognized that we were searching the hotel and they helped us.

"A comfortable hotel right in the historical city center of Nizwa — the Souq and Fort are literally within a few minute walk. I especially appreciated how quiet it was and the Omani-style décor in the room added a nice local touch. I only stayed one night, but it was a pleasant and comfortable stop during my trip."

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

"The guesthouse is situated at a peaceful street. Friendly staff. We were given a nice room facing to the quiet backyard so we were able to keep the window open all night, allowing us good sleep. All we needed were in the room: shower, good beds, fan to keep the room cooler. The breakfast was good. The beautiful Rakvere castle is within a brisk walk, also some good restaurants and a supermarket are few steps away."

В номері є кавоварка, кава, чай, цукор. На коридорі є мікрохвильова піч, чайник. Холодильник в який можна поставити продукти. В холодильнику безкоштовна вода, сік, молоко до кави.Розетки і тумбочки біля ліжка. Є фен. Є кондиціонер. Безкоштовна громадська парковка біля готелю."

"Сподобалося розташування в мальовничому куточку Швейцарії. Затишне невелике туристичне містечко. Готель має зручне розташування. Сніданок був досить смачним і було все необхідне. Як для дорослих, так і для 5 річної дитини. Сам готель старовинний, номер був простий і компактний. Є чайник, холодильник. Ви не знайдете в цьому готелі сучасного ремонту, та його вік додає йому певного шарму і створює добру атмосферу. Поселення відбулося швидко. Дякуємо за все!"

"The host was phenomenal! The apartment was as described. The local grocer and restaurants were just around the corner."

You cannot walk to the beach. Taxis are expensive.

"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.

The host will make sure you’re well looked after, help you with the tours/ self guided tours nearby and is very helpful with transport knowledge. We loved this place! I will say, if you’re vegan or veggie it’s hard to find food nearby, so maybe ask the host in advance if you can cook some simple food. They let us cook noodles ❤️❤️"
