If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

There were 2 ladies at the reception - one of them was exceptionally kind, the other one was passive aggressive and rude (I only talked to her on the phone).

"Fantastic, amazing,clean beautiful cosy place. Very friendly and felpful owner, he brought us butter, as I forgot and also tea. He helped me about what to see in the area. Very very cosy,home atmosphere. I am so so happy to choose this accomodation and I highly recommend it to everyone. At 10.00 pm there is silence. Parking next to house. Everything is very close."

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

"Great property in a very quiet location, though still close to the restaurants. Francis has taken personal care of us. House is lovely, clean, kitchen is well equiped. We took tour with Francis as well, both were wonderfull. You can spend your time at the beach and will be there alone most of the time, since the property is small (pls note that swimming is not recommend, as pretty much everywhere on this island). We have very much enjoyed our vacation there."

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "I loved staying at an authentic Lucian home in an area outside of Laborie. The couple is super friendly and they are both very willing to help in any way they can with tips and advice. The breakfast was incredible, even taking into consideration some diet restrictions (due to a cleanse I was doing). All in all I would recommend this place for anyone who is curious about a true St. Lucia experience. Get a rental car if you do, to you can get there more easily."

Almost nothing. Maybe the only thing I would change is being able to keep the door open for some fresh air. I couldn't because the new cat, Frisky, was not allowed inside. This made it a little hot inside at times.

"We loved the location and the pool - the gardens were stunning and it has a really peaceful feel in a busy city. The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. We were upgraded after our first night, free of charge, and both rooms were lovely!"

"Everything was excellent! Perfect location, walking distance to the center. Incredible restaurant next door with very friendly prices and outstanding food. Jorge is the best host I have ever had. He is very friendly and very human person. We had our car broken and he had helped us to push the car to car service and let us to store our staff in his house off the charge. Rooms are very clean, good kitchen, incredible veranda with cool view and BBQ station, hot water, fast Wi-Fi. Totally recommend"

1 socket per room is very little. No heaters in the room so in the night (we were in August) is a little chill but blankets are warm

"There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."
