The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. "Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

Some noise from other guests at night did affect the stay a little. Still, overall a pleasant experience...

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

"Великий, просторий дім, з 4- ма кімнатами і спільною кухнею з балконом. До пляжу 1,5 км. До магазину - 1км. Зручне розташування, зручне обслуговування. Ключі під кодовим замком ( що спрощує вхід, не потрібно шукати консєрша з ключами) - ввів код який надіслали і отримав ключі. Особливо сподобалась підтримка, швидка відповідь на повідомлення і постійні рекомендації щоб подорож була комфортною. За це окрема подяка."

Не сподобалось лише одне - наявність тараканчиків і комах.( в перший день комахи «гуляли» по ліжку. Прокинувся від того що по шиї щось лазить, але після звернення - пообіцяли виправити. Не знаю чи виправили, чи просто відсування ліжка допомогло…

We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.
