Set in a quaint 16th-century building alongside the River Valency, The Riverside is a 4-star silver award guest house. It offers free Wi-Fi and an award-winning breakfast. Locally caught fish and meats feature on the Riverside Restaurant's menu, along with Cornish cream tea served in the daytime tea room and garden, which has beautiful river views. The South West Coastal Path is less than 10 minutes’ walk from this guest accommodation. Scenic walks can be enjoyed in the wooded valley of the Valency or Saint Nectan’s Glen, which is a 10-minute drive away.

"It was right by the bus stop! We were greeted by happy friendly staff in every area! At first we felt a little daunted by having to order breakfast online, however after being shown how.. it was easy to follow and submit and breakfasts appeared as if by magic!! The evening meals were really 😋 good especially the seafood chowder and chefs ginger ice cream! I might need to visit Boscastle again very soon..!!"

"Checkout is 10am which is early on a Sunday morning if you fancy a lie in and a cuppa in bed, you can pay extra to check out at 11:00 am but I feel this should be standard. Other than that everything was perfect."
