The Holborn is a family run hotel situated in Thurso, a 5-minute walk to the beach. It offers en suite bedrooms with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is also within walking distance to the town centre, river walks and quaint harbour areas. The Castle of Mey and the Orkney Ferry Terminal are all nearby. The hotel‘s restaurant, The Red Pepper, serves an à la carte menu in the evenings. During the day, a bar meal is available at Bar 16 which boasts a jukebox and a pool table.

"Кімната чиста та світла, свіжий ремонт. Нові меблі. Все просто та бюджетно, але затишно. Маю досвід проживання в номерах при пабах, і вони далеко не завжди такі чисті. Також мені дуже сподобалося відчуття усамітненості, повної приватності. Тихо, спокійно, немов я одна в цих кімнатах. Проте знаю, що то було не так. Я отримала саме те, що шукала: приватність, чистоту, комфорт. Туалет та душ в номері теж дуже в гарному стані."

"Getting keys from the wall safe was easy. The place itself was lovely and quiet. Comfortable beds. Good heating. Nice small kitchen. Two bathrooms, one en-suite. Cosy living room. Good range of channels on the TV. Plus you are only a 10 minute walk from the Minster and old town, and only 20 minutes walk from the train station."
"Nice location right by the high street close to pubs and restaurants great feature have the suite with a bath in the bedroom as well as have a walk in shower in the bathroom soak and watch tv on the big tv it’s basically a posh studio flat. Great choice of breakfast if you go for it."
