"We had a wonderful relaxing week in Carennac. The village is a fairytale medieval setting, full of flowers and incredible architecture. Les Terraces is a stunning property, beautifully fitted out and in an absoutely picture perfect location. Sylvie is a great host and has thought of everything you could need for your stay. It's a cosy and welcoming home with a comfortable bed in a gorgeous upstairs ensuite and many "wow" factors as you go from room to room. We loved sitting on the wooden balcony, looking out over the Dordogne river at the bottom of the garden. It was so quiet that we heard just the running water, blackbirds singing and the calls of swallows swooping overhead. There's a great bar, a pizza restaurant and a tea shop (that baked us a daily baguette) just minutes walk away that we visited regularly and convenient large supermarkets in the nearby villages."
