Hotel L'Ecailler is set beside the Port de Plaisance in Ouistreham, a 5-minute drive from the D-day Landing Beaches and Museum. Seafood specialities are served in the restaurant where free Wi-Fi is provided. "This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. It’s right next to the Ouisterham ferry. It’s clean, comfortable and the owner and staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s not a luxury hotel - and doesn’t pretend to be, but it’s charming, spotlessly clean and perfect for a sleepover for a night or two. The breakfast on a tray in the restaurant downstairs is great value for money. I’ll be back next year."
