"We loved staying in this gorgeous house in lovely Monpazier and would definitely do so again. Béatrix is a responsive host who cares that her guests are happy. She greeted us with a huge welcome gift of her own fresh garden produce and eggs, homemade fruit punch and biscuits plus beers and soft drinks in the fridge. We slept well and the showers and cooking facilities were good. Very bright, spacious, clean, airy and tastefully decorated with the poppy theme throughout. Béatrix gave us lots of ideas of things to do. A guidebook with these ideas would be a great addition. The pretty neighbourhood cat popped in once for a visit as we had left all the doors and windows open. For info: soft mattresses in the double and twin bedrooms at the front and a firm mattress in the ensuite bedroom"
