Le Mas d'Isnard

"the breakfast was excellent , fresh croissant, pan au chocolat , fresh orange juice and good coffee in the dining area. The room had character being part of an old farhhouse, pleanty of free parking and table and chaors to sit outside. Although we could not speak much french the owner was very helpful and even gave us a complimenatary beer each"

"Gérard (host) was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was lovely and cool thanks to the air con and was very clean. The setting is very tranquil and we enjoyed sitting in the garden. Although it is a little remote, it was easy to find (well signposted) and has secure parking. Gérard asks that guests keep the noise down after 9pm which people respected and ensured a restful stay. Gérard recommended several restaurants in the city centre (about 10 minutes drive) and circled them on a map. We ate at Le Plaza La Papillotte which was a few streets away from the Amphitheatre; the food was very good and arrived quickly. There is a secure car park nearby. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, breads, jams, fresh melon and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were not hungry! We would be very happy to stay again. Merci Gérard."

"The only slight disappointment was that Gérard had not received our email requesting dinner but this did not really affect our stay."

"The Mas in beautifully located in the countryside 15 drive minutes from the centre of Arles. Diego, our host, was very friendly and hospitable. The house is beautiful and full of character. The room, whilst very comfortable, was slightly simple in terms of bathroom and lavatory facilities compared with a hotel. But a lovely place to stay. We didn’t eat breakfast but we saw it laid out and it looked very good."

"Absolutely loved the Mas. The owner is charming and kind, and his breakfast, excellent! The bedroom was simple but perfect. And although just out of Arles, we loved the position as getting into Arles was very simple and quick."

"My only thought is that the bed was a double, and we would have prefered a larger bed. But this was a small thing!"

"Wonderful country house outside Arles. One needs a bike or car but it's easy and worth it. Wonderfuld country side with horses, a family that welcomes you to their table and the best and most amazing thing is the thousands of frogs' "love song" in the night. It's overwhleming and an experience for life."
