"Perfectly equipped little studio apartment. They have everything you need here. It’s in the middle of the historic area, which I really like. It’s easy to find paid parking nearby. Be aware that you are in a city in France in a historic area so you are going to have to climb stairs. That’s the name of the game And that’s how it is in this part of the world. Great value for money. I’d stay again"

"La Factory is situated centrally in the historical centre of Perpignan. It could not be better placed amidst an abundance of street cafés, bars and restaurants. Turn left out of the door, walk down to the place and look up at the fish high on the wall. This is the rue Paratilla which is the most trendy place to hang out and eat oysters, tapas and jambon. Boutique shops abound and all manner of interesting things are within walking distance. La Factory was probably a warehouse for wool or fabric traders long since gone. Parking underground at Place Arago where you can get nightly rates and 2+ rates for longer stays. The parking is a few metres from the Factory. Everything you needed was there and I found it very convenient."

"A multitude of assorted decorative items adorn the walls, gathering dust, serving no purpose and get in the way. The bed linen would be better replaced by hotel quality white sheets, white duvet cover and rectangular pillars. This would provide a stark and crisp contrast to the factory style decor. Replacing the floor coverings with a large kelim from Marocco would add quality and raise the standard. This is a well placed, convenient and workable place to stay. A little bit of polish would put it in a higher category. Black-out blinds would be good."

"Communications with the owner were excellent and he went the extra mile to be helpful. Room was characterful and comfortable. Shower functioned well. Situation of the flat was 6*. If you are arriving on the overnight train, would recommend leaving your luggage at the Paris Barcelone hotel opposite the railway station until the time you can have access to the apartment. Bring shower gel."

"Emmanuel helped us sort out getting the mobile air conditioning unit in the right place so that it would work. The kilims on the floor could benefit from being washed."

"When we arrived it was really hot and there was no fan or air conditioning. We spoke with the owners and they were so helpful and kind, and within hours they had organised an air conditioning unit for the property."
