"To stay at Hotel-Musée Villa Bagatelle is to immerse yourself in French history and charm. The Villa is eclectically and authentically decorated with carefully chosen artifacts which enhance the ambiance. Every modern comfort has also been considered, including charging cables for iPhones, iPads and computers by the bed. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and there was so much space. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts with croissants and pain au chocolats fresh from the boulangerie and home made jams. We also enjoyed a delicious bottle of wine one evening and meals are available to order. Best of all, however, are the charming and gracious hosts. In particular I appreciated the way in which Matthieu spoke slowly and clearly to encourage me to continue to speak in French. I cannot recommend this beautiful place too highly."
