"Very clean and very friendly welcome from Pascal. Beautiful garden and surroundings, lovely region. Very close to shops if you need to buy some food / get petrol etc. Pascal had a cot set up for our youngest and the room was very comfortable. There is a small kettle if you want to have a hot beverage in the room"
"The bathroom wasn’t in the bedroom which was a bit more complicated for me on my own as an adult with 3 kids, but it was very close and only for us to use which was good. Be mindful as with all chambre d’hôte that you are very close to other guests / bedroom so kids need to keep the noise to a minimum, understandably, but can a bit tough with younger children."
"A home away from home! Upon arrival there was a lovely front yard with trees and the friendliest cat in the world greeted us. The host was so incredibly nice and made us coffee when we checked out. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm and cozy. We Will definitely be returning!"

"We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place and return with pleasure! The location is perfect to explore Valenciennes—central, calm, and convenient. The person who welcomed us was extremely polite and accommodating, allowing us a late check-out which really helped with our train schedule. Communication was quick and friendly throughout. The apartment is great value for money, but for full transparency, we gave a 9 because the bathroom door was broken and difficult to use, and the bed was quite hard with sheets that could be of better quality. If those two details are improved, it would truly be an excellent place to discover Valenciennes. Thank you again for everything!
