This property is on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant. Lomamokkila’s accommodation options have wooden floors and private or shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Some include flat-screen TVs, while free WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests can book a traditional wood-heated sauna or enjoy free use of rowing boats on the lake. Volleyball, badminton, and tennis are popular summer activities. The farm’s own products are used in the breakfast and summer restaurant. During winter, guests can cross-country ski on the trails surrounding the farm. Snowshoes and bicycles can also be rented.

"Basically evertyhing. I was traveling alone in off-season. I've been there alone so I got the whole house for myself. The breakfast served in full with many options like the place was full, that was amazing."

"We had an absolutely lovely time at Lomamokkila! The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Finnish countryside. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The breakfast was delicious, and a cozy atmosphere in the main house. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would definitely love to come back — thank you for such a warm and memorable stay! -PS: It was the perfect place to watch aurora."

"The location was amazing. The hosts were fantastic and they helped us a lot with everything we needed and with suggestions on what to do. They offer a lovely breakfast and dinner with fresh, local products which we really enjoyed. We also enjoyed the row boats in the lake, the walk in the forest and the sauna by the lake. Being in the sauna and then getting into the cold lake was actually one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed there for 3 nights but I could have easily spent more time, there were many activities to do in the surrounding areas."

"The B&B is located in a beautiful farm, a neat and very well kept complex of many buildings, gardens, farm facilities, etc., all set in a peaceful lakeside environment. The main building is elegant, welcoming, and so are the owners. The room was a bit small for 3 people, but OK for a short stay. Breakfast was great! It seems in the middle of nowhere, but it takes just 15 drive to downtown. Price is fair. I would stay there again, 100%!!!"
