"We highly recommend a visit to Mango Island Lodge. We received a wonderful welcome from a smiling and extremely helpful Lina. Stephane the owner was always was on hand to answer any questions and to make recommendations for what to visit during your time here. Marina was there to greet us with a smile at breakfast each morning. The location is perfect for exploring the island, the gardens are beautiful and the rooms extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated, spacious, cool and spotlessly clean. Stephane is also busy in the kitchen in the evening to prepare wonderful dinners in the internationally inspired restaurant overlooking the ocean. We highly recommend a stay here at Mango Island Lodge - you won't be disappointed"

"We had a great stay at Veranda View. Hermine is great to talk to! The location is wonderful, we didn't swim, however it was an easy walk to the store for basics and restaurants and bars (we loved Unique Seaview Restaurant). There was a rooster crowing from 2 am on but who knows, maybe it'll be in the pot by the time others stay! Calibishie was a great place to stay as a home base, easy drives (minus the numerous potholes and narrow roads) to #1 Beach, Batibou Bay, Baw Nef Falls, Chaudiere Pool, Morne Diablotins hike. Bonus being close to the airport! Also of note, the windows are not glass, just bars and shutters, so you have to use the mosquito netting at night to keep bugs off of you. It cools off enough that it is comfortable at night (we were there in March). Also there is a warm shower hallelujah!"

"It was amazing! Probably our favorite guest house we have ever been to. Location is impeccable, you wake up seeing the sea, feeling the breeze through the open window. Perfect relaxation!! Bed is wonderful, not as hard as often in the region. Everything you need is in the spacious room (water kettle, microwave, etc). Next door is a supermarket and a breakfast spot. On the ground floor there is a great restaurant (taste the fried shrimp!). Last but not least: Christine is a wonderful host, with great recommendations in the region and beyond. We can highly recommend!"

"The property is quiet area which is close to many special spots such as Trafalgar falls and hot springs. About 15 minutes drive from the Roseau. The property owner is very friendly and welcoming."

"Beautiful and spacious apartment. Good location on the island. Walking distans to nice Mero beach, but be prepared that the road is steep. Wonderful and helpful host who provided breakfast when we arrived late and suggested trips, nice stops and restaurants on the island."

"This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

"What a nice place and welcome..During 3 days we enjoyed being helped in our choices of visit thanks to Philip whos is really proud of its island and expert of it. We also definitly enjoyed with the delicious meal Connie is able to prepare for you for the dinner. Many thanks to them. The house is situated really close to Roseau centre 15mn but with the benefit to be far enough in moutain side to have a very good air and view and calm."
