"The highlight of this stay was definitely the massive terrace with an incredible ocean view—it was so relaxing to sit there and watch the sea. The owner is very warm, reliable, and pays great attention to detail, making us feel right at home. The entire place was spotless and very well-organized. Also, the location is perfect as it's very close to the airport, making travel super easy."

"Host - Jean Pierre - is the winning lottery ticket! Location, rooms, terrace on the top... everything was great. Delicious breakfast (and also dinner) is a big plus. We really enjoyed the atmosphere during the meals. This place definitely has a charm - we had a feeling that we come to a visit of an old friend. Maybe I will start learning French to be able to have a live chat with JP next time - without google translate :)"

"If we knew our experience will be as great, we would definitely book for a longer stay! The village is still so authentic and very safe. We love the warmth, pureness and privacy the JP and his team offer. There is only 3 rooms in the house which allows for the quiet and homy feeling. We were lucky to have the room with the balcony which offers the best possible view. All the furniture and equipment is modern and well taken care of. The water is really warm (not always the case in Cabo Verde). We very much enjoyed the home made breakfasts and dinners. Will miss the very special marmalade, cakes, punch and the chats with the team and the guests we met! We wish you a wonderful stay and hope to be back too!"

"Breakfast was good. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Balcony had a great view over Sao Pedro."

"The owner does not speak English, just French. Uses an app to translate though. He is very kind and helpful."

"Excellent host, JeanPierre is very punctual, very friendly, give alot of practical information, being French he is an excellent cook. It is on a walkable distance from the Sao Vicente airport, so you can save yourself this taxi cost."

"Beautiful location with panoramic view of the beach from the room. We could see the turtles from the balcony. Jean Pierre is a very friendly host, everything is possible. Perfect end or start of a holiday."

"The ocean roof was a very pleasant stay! JC made sure we had everything ready even before we arrived. He was a very welcoming and caring host. The room are nicely equipped and perfect for a 2 week stay. There’s a pool on the rooftop and breakfast is served every morning. It was actually so comfy you might forget it’s Africa. But still, come there with the right expectations and you won’t be disappointed. 100% recommend."

"Apartamento Os Bidons is a great place for both short and longer stays in Praia. The apartment is cozy, quite spacious, and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It’s also decorated in a very creative and original style. The location is very good – slightly away from the city center, but still within easy walking distance of everything. The beach (our favorite in Praia) is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Communication was excellent, and Sandra was especially friendly and supportive. She even helped us arrange an early morning transfer to the airport. I definitely recommend this apartment."
