The Hotel Kernen is located close to the Schönried train station, about 5 km from Gstaad, and offers rooms with balconies, gourmet food and free Wi-Fi. You can use the swimming pools and the spa area of the neighbouring hotel at a reduced rate. The 18-hole golf course of Gstaad is only a 10-minute drive from the hotel. As a hotel guest you will receive a green fee discount of 10%. The Horneggli and Rellerli cable cars are only a few minutes' walk away from the Kernen hotel. The Hotel Kernen is an ideal starting point to the hiking paths and mountain bike trails, as well as the ski slopes and cross-country ski runs of the Gstaad-Saanenland region.

"Staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast and eating area was so cozy and friendly each morning with newspapers there. It’s very close to Alpine Express train stop (but you don’t hear or see it). If you want a hotel with an alive and cozy “vibe” to stay in during the ski season, this is it."

"I loved the place and every minute I spent there. It easily accessible, as it's 1 minute away from the train station. I loved the terrace where I could sit and enjoy a drink in the evening after dinner. There is a nice lounge where I could work the full day, before I started my weekend. The breakfast is not extremely diverse, but it was more than enough and very good quality."
