The family-run Alpenhof hotel is only 3 minutes' walk away from the centre of Grindelwald and the train station, and is situated right at the ski slope. The rooms and suites all have either a balcony or terrace, are accessible by lift, and feature free WiFi access. They all come with a HD TV, a radio, a telephone, a minibar, a coffee machine and a bathroom with hairdryer and shower or bath tub. Some rooms have panoramic views towards the Eiger Mountain. Tasty, typical Swiss cuisine with regional products is served in the Alpenhof's restaurant. "It’s a little bit of a steeper walk from town (especially if you have luggage) and the roads can be a little slippery when it’s cold, a lift up and down would be better suited if you have some troubles with mobility. Otherwise good, and with the steeper walk up comes a better view out ☺️"
