"Set in nature very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Taxi came to pick us up at the airport. Felt looked after."

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

The property was great and Saritas daily fresh bread made breakfast delicious . Sadly Sharron only arrived at the end of our stay she was a mine of local knowledge and would have been great to tap into

"Location was amazing, the food you can have at the izakaya was amazing. They could speak english and one of the person working there translated the whole menu for us. They have a great system in place for the shared showers so don’t be worried about that. Hateruma is a gorgeous place to explore, highly recommend! Also booking system was super easy."

Bed a little harder than our preference but I think that’s normal! We supplied our own music, frequent power cuts but the generator kicked in quickly.

Le lit est vraiment ferme, mais les 3 logements de notre séjour étaient comme ça donc j'imagine que c'est classique en Guadeloupe.

Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation.

Host is very friendly, joins for breakfast chat, and is a really wise and cool person, who is happy to talk tourist things, history, and life. Overall the place has 3 small rooms, with a huge shared central room, so it must be fun for friend groups. Amenities, location, and basics are fine. Furniture is amazing and well kept antics. Breakfast is basic but local and fresh. I traveled for business, but will come back with family. :)"

Fiquei a vontade e me sentindo em casa mesmo,a marli tbm prepara um café da manhã com muito carinho ,eu e meu esposo com certeza voltaremos em outras oportunidades."

"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

"Simples e aconchegante, quarto tamanho médio, frigorífico em ótimas condições, jarra elétrica no quarto, há 6 chás 2 águas, a cama era confortável, macia, lençóis brancos, macio e pareciam bem limpos, toalhas brancas limpas e cheirosas, o quarto parecia limpo, TV em ótimo funcionamento, fácil acesso, fácil contato com administradores, 1km do centro mais ou menos. Casa de banho em bom estado, parecia limpo, com sabonete e tapete a água quente boa."

Є чайник, холодильник, фен для загального користування та гарний інтернет. Сніданок був дуже смачний. Якщо є бажання можно замовити собі вечерю і за гарну ціну отримати порцію смачних страв. Une erreur des clé du portail principal alors fallait à chaque entrée devoir frapper pendant de longues minutes le gardien de nuit sachant cela m'a laissé sortir je lui ai dit je revenais tard a mon arrivée je suis resté 45 minutes dehors à frappé grâce au groupe d'échange avec le client j'ai écris la gérante très déranger du soucis ma rassuré qu'elle fait tout son possible pour joindre le gardien celui ci arrivée 30 minutes plutard même pas s'excuser Et aussi avoir plus de chaîne à la télé j'ai été obligé de regarder France 24 durant tout mon séjour

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."
